Progesterone-Supporting Tahini Date Chocolate Fudge!

Updated: Dec 12, 2023

Tahini Date Chocolate Fudge is a healthy yet satisfying treat that can be eaten guilt-free:

- To support progesterone the week leading up to your menses

- To curb sugar and chocolate cravings

- Anytime, really!

You’ll need:

  • 3/4 cup dates (either Deglet, Medjool or both). If dates are dry and hard, cover them in warm water and soak for 1 hour.

  • 1/4 cup raw cacao powder (unsweetened, unprocessed)

  • 1/4 to 1/3 cup tahini (enough to make it into a fudgy paste)

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

In a food processor, add dates, vanilla and and cacao powder. Run until it makes a crumbly paste. Add tahini in slowly through the top. If too dry, add more tahini. Should look fudgy.

Line a 5”x5” pan with parchment paper (makes it easier to remove and serve the fudge later) and press the fudge into the pan. You can press in cacao nibs on top or dust with a bit of sea salt if you like. Alternatively, form into little balls and dust with cacao powder. Place in fridge for 1 hour. Cut into squares, the enjoy!

Store in a covered glass container. Will keep in the fridge for 2 weeks.
