How do I book a Discovery Call?

Booking a Discovery Call is your first step in starting your health journey with me. It is a complimentary 15 min virtual video consultation where we get to see if we're the right fit for each other, and for you to learn more about my naturopathic process and what to expect. Please click the “Book An Appointment” button at the top right hand corner of my website to book your Discovery Call.

What is the investment for working together?

To see a list of my consultation visits and their fees, please click here.  All new patients can start off by booking a complimentary Discovery Call, to ensure we are a good fit.

 

Do you accept Direct Billing?

Yes! I am able to direct bill for Canada Life, Manulife, Sunlife, Desjardins, Alberta Blue Cross, ASEBP, Chambers of Commerce, among others. I am not able to direct bill for Greenshield, Equitable Life or Pacific Blue Cross but patients will be able to submit themselves after payment has been processed. 

Please be informed that your insurance may not cover 100% of your visit fee. It is the responsibility of the patient to understand what their insurance plan covers.

Where is your clinic located?

While I am based in Airdrie, Alberta, I focus on virtual and home-based care. Your Discovery Call and Initial Consult will be conducted as an online virtual consultation.

What can I expect from my virtual Initial Naturopathic Consultation?

In the Initial Consultation, we will go over a detailed history of your current and past health concerns and order any relevant bloodwork and/or advanced testing in order to get to the root cause of your health concerns. I will coach you on how to obtain bloodwork through your MD, and bloodwork can also be ordered through myself for a minimal fee, especially if your MD is unable to run certain relevant tests, such as Vitamin D. We will get you started on a foundational treatment plan in the Initial Consultation but your personalized Strategy will be discussed in your Second Visit, which will be 4-6 weeks thereafter.

​Prior to your virtual Initial Naturopathic Consultation, you will be filling out 3 forms: Intake and Consent form, Direct Billing form (if applicable) and a Credit Card Payment form.

Can you access my labwork through Netcare or My Alberta Health?

No, as a Naturopathic Doctor, I do not have access to Netcare nor your My Alberta Health account. Patients may email me a PDF of their records (taken from My Alberta Health) or fill out a Release of Records form for me to fax to their MD's office, requesting labs to be faxed directly to me. The latter option may take several days to weeks and may incur a lab fee as per their MD's office.

Where can I order supplements from?

You are free to purchase your supplements from any retailer of your choice. I also offer Fullscript as a convenient option for accessing trusted, professional-grade supplements. 

Can I become a patient if I don't live in Alberta?

No, I am only able to accept patients residing in the province of Alberta.
